Elder Nate Simpson is a native of Cleveland, OH and serves as the Chief Ministry Officer (CMO), overseeing and providing direction for 30 ministries offered at “THE WORD” Church. He has received formal training supporting Teen Challenge, a program which helps men break the addiction cycle of drugs and alcohol. Elder Simpson overcame drug addiction, to become an instructor in the same program. His commitment, tenacity, and strong desire to fulfill God’s call unlocked the door to his new assignment as CMO.
Elder Simpson attended Global University Bible College and Kent State University. He is an unfeigned teacher and preacher of the Gospel who ministers with demonstration and a prophetic anointing. He is well suited to capture the hearts of the young, as well as speak a refreshing Word of admonishment for seniors in the ministerial ranks. He ministers in a way that is “practical, yet powerful” in penetrating the hardest of hearts with the conviction that God is able to save anyone.
Elder Simpson balances his life as a devoted husband to Elder Sherdene Simpson and proud father of their daughter, Kiya.
