As a by-product of street life in the city of Cleveland, Elder Reno Montgomery was in a search for peace when he heard the powerful Word from a young preacher more than seven years ago. He joined the church hungry to serve and please God, volunteering in the Parking ministry. He humbly served with no complaints, in spite of the harsh and often inconsistent Cleveland weather. He served as a Deacon in that capacity until his call to become an Elder was met. He now provides direction for the New Members Assimilation department. As Elder Reno once searched, he now develops others and helps them find their Pathway to Purpose (new members’ classes) and welcoming them into the body of Christ. Elder Reno also serves as the ministry liaison for Men’s Monday, a ministry designed to offer men from all over Cleveland, an opportunity to worship, learn, fellowship and enjoy recreation in an atmosphere designed just for men.
Elder Montgomery is married to Sister Rochelle Montgomery and is the father of a beautiful daughter, Zyrece.
