OUTREACH & COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT
The Outreach/Community Impact Ministry always has an array of resources available on site after every service. These resources include information on educational programs, food service programs, social service programs, resources for ex-felons, job readiness programs, housing information (i.e. utility support programs, mortgage support, and rental assistance programs). Be sure to frequent the Community Impact area often to get up-to-date information on resources that may be helpful to you or your loved ones.
We have a food pantry onsite where members and nonmembers can come to get a free bag of groceries, just about any day of the week. (For exact pantry hours, please call the number listed below). If you’d like to get some food for your family, contact us to set up a day and time to visit the pantry at 216.332.9673. It’s not necessary to make an appointment to get food; it just helps us if we know when you’re coming so we can prepare just for you.
We have a clothing pantry stocked with top quality new and gently used clothing available for your browsing and picking pleasure. Feel free to stop by and shop our selection if you’re in the market for some great clothing for you or your family but don’t have the moolah to splurge right now. It’s not necessary to make an appointment to peruse our collection; however, we’d prefer that you call us first so we can arrange for a personal shopper to accompany you as you leaf through our racks. The number is 216.332.9673.
Your child and his/her nutrition are a priority at “THE WORD” CHURCH. We want to make sure your child has the tools necessary to succeed. We are partnering with The Cleveland Foodbank to offer healthy meals for youth (ages 5 – 17) that can be replenished every Wednesday following Bible Study.
ASK ME ANYTHING—WE KNOW EVERYTHING!
Well, not exactly, but when it comes to “THE WORD” CHURCH we do! The Ask Me Anything area is the information center for “THE WORD” CHURCH. If you have questions, concerns, or comments that you’d like to ask or share, this is the place to go. There are also walking “Ask Me Anything” representatives available all around the campus, easily identifiable by their badges. If we don’t have the answer for you, we can tell you how to get it!
INREACH & OUTREACH

We offer professional counseling, pastoral guidance, spiritual guidance, and a variety of small groups to foster the emotional, mental, and spiritual development of our congregation, the Greater Cleveland community, and the Body of Christ.
