Hello Friend,
As we all embark on a new year with newfound focus, new challenges and renewed ambition to accomplish our short and long-term desires, Pastor Vernon has made an important decision regarding his dedication to his personal goals as well. In 2010, he will not be committing to any speaking engagements outside of his calling to the city of Cleveland in an effort to prioritize the many demands of his personal and professional life.
Realizing the importance of sacrifice, maintaining balance, and being intentional in fulfilling his vocational purpose, he has decided to focus on his ministry in our local community, on mentoring and discipling his sons and daughters in ministry, on spending time with and pouring into his family, and on his academic career with great resolve, as he is approaching the dissertation stages of his doctoral degree.
In September of 2010, he will reopen his calendar for consideration of speaking invitations for the year 2011.
Please continue to pray for Pastor Vernon and “THE WORD” Church as we strive to advance the kingdom agenda.
