First Lady Victory Vernon is a woman of integrity, poise, and grace. Known for her heart for women, wisdom, and welcoming personality, she pours unreservedly into the women of “THE WORD” Church. Lady Vernon holds a bachelor of arts degree in social work from Capital University and a master’s degree in practical theology from Ashland Theological Seminary.
She is the director of the Women’s Ministry at “THE WORD” Church and oversees all of the programs and courses offered by the Women’s Ministry. She is also the spokesperson for “THE WORD” Church and Cleveland Clinic’s Victory in Pink breast health awareness partnership, and she founded the I Am Victory Mentorship Program, which aims to guide young ladies from ages 18-25 to victory in all areas of their lives.
Most recently, she created a talk show titled The Chat Room, a roundtable discussion where Christian women of various backgrounds and views come together to have lively, spirited conversation about life issues, current events, and the hot topics that dominate the media, offering biblical perspective and godly insight. Her first book, I Am Victory: Kingdom Principles to a Victorious Life, will be released on June 27th.
Lady Vernon’s call is ministering to women who are broken and hurting. She is passionate about helping them to achieve spiritual and emotional wholeness. Both in word and deed, she pushes women to be naturally and spiritually healthy and inspires them to fulfill the call that God has on their lives.
Alongside her husband, Lady Vernon handles her obligation to serve in ministry with superb devotion. She is a loving and devoted mother of five children.
