New to “THE WORD” Church? If so, then we would like to invite you to join us on your Pathway to Purpose! Pathway to Purpose are classes which aid the new believer or new member in their Christian development, as a welcomed addition to “THE WORD” Church family.
HOW TO BEGIN YOUR PATHWAY TO PURPOSE:
Your journey of Christian development as a new member at “THE WORD” Church begins with foundational teachings, starting with our SALVATION 101 Course (a 4-week session or option for 1 day crash-course available), followed by a progression through our core classes below:
How to Study The Bible (4-week)
What We Believe About the Holy Spirit (4-week)
Stewardship (4-week)
Discovering Your God-Given Gifts (4 week)
Ministry Readiness (2 hour class)

We invite you to attend any of the above classes at either our Word North or South locations during the times below
Word North (East Tech Location)
Wednesdays 7:00pm – 7:45pm
Sundays 10:30am – 11:30am
Word South (South Miles Location)
Wednesdays 6:00pm-7:00pm
Saturdays 5:00pm-6:00pm
Sundays 11:30am-12:30pm

Once completed, there is a final course in Ministry Readiness. This Bible-based teaching will enhance your spiritual growth. As part of Pathway to Purpose, we require that all students complete Grief Recovery (see Small Group page) before entering into our general ministries (for a full description of ministries you can participate in, please see our Ministries page).
Once you have completed your Pathway to Purpose, you are now ready to go forth into your service of ministry within “THE WORD” Church. We hope to see you soon!
